I am happy to visit your group or venue to deliver a workshop.

I have nearly finished planning 2018 Workshops away from home with possibly just a couple of dates available at the end of the year. Amazingly I have also some dates booked in 2019!!

I am happy to discuss with you or your group visiting your venue to provide a Felt Making Workshop.

I have previously delivered workshops to various regions of the International Feltmakers Association, Embroiderers Guilds, The Alpaca Society, Colleges, Felt in the Factory, Artison, Joe Cornish Gallery, Dutch House Gallery, Wonderwool, Moral Fibre, Crafty Retreats, Art Venues & residential workshops.

My main interest is Sculptural Felt, this involves a wide variety of techniques to arrive at a finished piece of work.

I can plan the day to create a finished piece to take home or alternatively an exciting day of sampling lots of techniques can be arranged. For a two day workshop or more, we can sample on day one followed by a day or more of designing, planning & creating a finished piece of work using some or all of the sampled techniques.

The workshop can be tailored to suit your group, for example a beginners day starting with the essential basics and creating a hollow decorative vessel or if you are embroiderers we can create a vessel or flat piece and stitch & embellish later.

Popular Workshops are:

Pods

Advanced Pods

Spikey Vessels

To arrange a date in 2018 please email me to chat further.

My arrangements are that I charge a day fee for tuition and provision of all equipment required during the workshop.

I can provide materials @£5 per person or participants can provide their own

I have to charge mileage from my home near Scarborough to the venue and return @44pence per mile.

If out of the UK I would find the most economical flight available.

I require overnight accommodation if travel is over one & a half hours away. Premier Inn or similar.

A usual group would be a max of 10 people.

I have full P&P liability insurance.

Here are a few photos to give ideas, however if you are interested in any other topics please ask for more info and images. Thank you

Collage images show students results at the end of a workshop as an idea of what can be achieved.
